I wonder how your program is different from other similar products.

You just choose what you want to read or view, and the program finds the information you need and delivers it right into your mobile phone without delay.

Does your service work in any country?
Absolutely! Our service is international; it is not confined to any particular country or mobile provider. It works not only in the ex-USSR republics but also around the world.
Can I obtain Wapalta by submitting a request to my mobile provider?
No. The Wapalta service is international; it is not confined to any mobile provider. Just download and install the Wapalta Java-application to become a «Pocket Web» user.
Questions about the terms of payment and free usage
Is the program free or not?
You can download Wapalta from our site for free, install it in your mobile phone, and make sure that the application works. Some days later the application will switch to the limited-functionality mode, i.e. some of the program's functions will become unavailable, and you will be asked to make a payment. You may refuse to pay and continue using your Wapalta browser as long as you please but with a limited set of features. Or you may make the payment (→ terms of payment) and enjoy the excellent Wapalta browser-catalogue without any limitations!
How much does it cost to activate Wapalta?
It costs only $4.95. You can purchase activation code right now.
So, is your program free or not? I can't figure it out. There must be a catch!
There's no catch. You can download our application for free and use it as long as you will. But most additional information channels will be unavailable. If you want to use them, you will have to make a single payment to activate all the features. (→ terms of payment)
I've been using Wapalta for a week, and $1 has been charged off my account!
We do not charge Wapalta users for data traffic. The money has been charged off your account by the mobile provider as a payment for GPRS traffic. Unfortunately, we cannot cancel this kind of payment — providers collect it on their own initiative. However, we use powerful data compression tools in order to reduce your expenditures to a minimum. So you may rest assured that your expenses will be the smallest possible!
Technical issues
Can this Java-application work with multiple email boxes?
Yes, and the number of boxes is unlimited! All the email boxes are created independently and appear as separate menu items.
Does your email service support access via the SMTP and POP3 protocols?
No, access via these protocols is not supported. Email messaging is only possible in two ways — via either the mobile online interface wapalta.mobi or the Wapalta Java-application.
I can't enter the wapalta.mobi WAP-site! The Java-application reports a «no connection with the server» error.
Please make sure that the GPRS data transmission feature is active in your mobile phone. Contact your provider's support service for more detailed information on this issue.
